The Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program, an initiative of the Dallas Bar Association and Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas, is hosting 11 free legal clinics for county residents who meet financial guidelines. The clinics, which will be held throughout June, will offer legal advice and consultation in civil matters.

Clinics begin at 5 p.m., with the exception of the veteran’s clinic, which begins at 1:30 p.m.

Additionally, a free legal clinic for veterans will be held in Conroe on Saturday, June 1, 2019. From 9 a.m. to noon, volunteer attorneys will be at the Conroe VA Outpatient Clinic (690 S. Loop 336 W., 77304), available for one-on-one advice and counsel in any area of law, including family law, wills and probate, consumer law, and real estate and tax law, and disability and veterans benefits.
Veterans in need of legal representation and who qualify for legal aid may be assigned a pro bono attorney through the Houston Volunteer Lawyers. The Conroe clinic is a service of the Montgomery County Bar Association, the Houston Northwest Bar Association, The Woodlands Bar Association, and the Veterans Legal Initiative.
