Practicing law can be stressful, so it’s important to take time to decompress.
Heavy workloads and client stories can take a toll on lawyers both physically and psychologically. That’s why we recently started a monthly work-life column in the Texas Bar Journal highlighting ways attorneys and firms are finding time to de-stress from the pressures of the job.
In that spirit, we are launching a new photo contest. With summer upon us, we want to see how you’re taking a break from the law and recharging this season—whether it’s a serene day on the beach, an evening curled up with a good book, an active afternoon on the lake, or a fun barbecue with the family.
Share your vacation photos with the State Bar of Texas (@statebaroftexas) via Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram using the hashtag #lawyervacay. You can also email them to tbj@texasbar.com.
Some of our favorite snapshots will be featured on the Texas Bar Blog and our social media accounts.
Now, hurry up and relax—we can’t wait to see how you’re striking a healthy work-life balance!
