The Texas Young Lawyers Association, or TYLA, will hold its Eighth annual Western States Regional Summit from May 19 to May 22 at the Hotel Paso del Norte in El Paso.

Speakers and attendees will arrive from New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, and other states in the Mountain West to take part in this event, which is co-sponsored by the Colorado Bar Association Young Lawyers Division and the State Bar of New Mexico Young Lawyers Division. Registration is open to all lawyers.

The summit will include up to 12 hours of MCLE credit, pending approval. Topics include Trial Perspectives: A Courtroom Roundtable featuring Judge Roy Ferguson, cybersecurity, employment law for remote workers, international business immigration, bankruptcy law for non-bankruptcy lawyers, a legal writing workshop, and more.

Registration to the summit is $85 and includes credit for up to 12 MCLE hours, access to digital CLE materials, a swag bag and printed program, admission to the Thursday welcome reception, admission to the Friday reception, plus breakfast, lunch, breaks, and other refreshments during Friday’s and Saturday’s programming.
