The Tarrant County Bar Association Diversity Committee will host a panel of law students to discuss diversity and inclusion at noon on March 25. The panel discussion is free and open to the public.
As part of the SIDE (Striving for Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity inside the) Bar Conversation Series, the law student-led discussion will focus on what future lawyers see as critical for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal field.
Panelists include moderator Herschel Bowens, diversity council student liaison at Texas A&M University School of Law; Arielle Williams, a 3L at Texas A&M University School of Law; Emile Lopez, a student at UNT Dallas College of Law; and Kristy Uyen Le, a 3L at Texas A&M University School of Law.
Discussion topics will include what barriers students see in applying to law schools and creating a successful legal career.
