The deadline for nominations for the State Bar of Texas Pro Bono Excellence and Indigent Defense awards has been extended until Friday, March 3, at noon.
Every year the bar’s Legal Services to the Poor in Civil Matters and Legal Services to the Poor in Criminal Matters committees call for nominations of individuals, groups, and entities that perform exceptional work in providing legal services to low-income Texans.
Award recipients will be notified in May.
