Veterans in need of legal help with disability benefits appeals can attend a free clinic in Houston this month.
In order to attend, veterans must have received a decision from the Veterans Affairs Department on their disability benefit claim and must bring their decision letter to the clinic on June 15.
Those attending must also bring their DD Form 214 discharge and separation documents or a Veterans Affairs identification card.
The clinic will be held at Haynes and Boone, 1221 McKinney St., Ste. 2100, at noon.
Veterans must register prior to the clinic at greaterhouston.veteranslegalservices.us. No walk-ins will be accepted.
The event is supported by ExxonMobil, Haynes and Boone, Metroplex Veterans Legal Services, and the State Bar of Texas Corporate Counsel Section.
