The State Bar of Texas Office of Minority Affairs will host the 23rd Annual Texas Minority Counsel Program (TMCP) on October 14-16, 2015, at the Westin Houston Memorial City hotel.
TMCP is a client development, networking, and CLE event for diverse attorneys in Texas. Created in 1993, the program’s mission is to increase opportunities for minority and women attorneys who provide legal services to corporate and government clients, and expose those organizations to the talent found in the minority and women lawyer communities.
TMCP offers attendees CLE presentations from experts in the legal profession and valuable networking opportunities in the form of receptions, a speed networking luncheon, a golf tournament, a spa event, and more. In addition, attendees can participate in informational interviews to discuss outside counsel opportunities.
The program also offers Save-the-Date Receptions that provide networking opportunities in six major cities throughout Texas during the months leading up to the annual conference. All attorneys are invited to attend these free events to network with local attorneys while learning more about TMCP.
Early bird registration for TMCP ends August 21. This is also the deadline for attorneys to submit résumés for consideration for the informational interviews. For more information on the Texas Minority Counsel Program, click here.
