Alternate dates selected for July Bar Exam; TX Supreme Court to announce decision by May 1

The Texas Board of Law Examiners reports it continues to accept applications and prepare to administer the July 2020 Texas Bar Exam as scheduled. However, the National Conference of Bar Examiners has authorized alternate dates in September for a postponed examination. The alternate dates are September 9-11 and September 30-October 2. Texas courts held over 10,000 remote hearings in past 2 weeks, OCA estimates

Texas courts held more than 10,000 hearings over the past two weeks through Zoom licenses issued by the Office of Court Administration, the OCA reported Thursday. Judges spent a combined 22,700 hours in hearings with nearly 51,000 participants over that period, according to the OCA.
