Why did you join the TYLA board? To volunteer in my statewide community and not just my local one.

What advice would you give to other TYLA members who are looking for ways to grow professionally? Get involved! The connections you can make by being involved with nonprofits and activities in your city are priceless.

Before joining the TYLA board, what is your favorite experience with community or public service? My time with the Junior League of Midland, Inc.

What was your favorite movie, TV show, musical artist, or song from high school/college? Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter.
