In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, many attorneys are finding the need to put medical directives, powers of attorney, and other advance documents in place for clients.
In order to assist with the increased need, TexasBarBooks is offering free access to the Texas Guardianship Manual Online. The manual includes forms and instructions for creating guardianships, advance directives and powers of attorney, and end-stage planning.
Forms in the manual include engagement letter, statutory durable power of attorney, medical power of attorney, authorization for release of protected health information, declaration of appointment of guardian for my children in event of death or incapacity, designation of guardianship in event of later incapacity or need of guardianship, directive to physician and family or surrogates, and statement of intent for end of life planning.
To access resources, email books@texasbar.com with your name, bar card number, and preferred email address. Complimentary access to the manual will end on May 31, 2020.
