CASA’s Rachel & Gilbert’s Closet accepting donations for kids

Houston-based family law attorney Meredith Clark is hosting a donation drive for Court Appointed Special Advocates’ Rachel & Gilbert’s Closet.

CASA supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy to ensure every child who has experienced abuse can be safe, have a permanent home, and have the opportunity to thrive. By donating items such as new toys and clothing, people can make a direct impact on the life of a child.

The wish list includes, for all ages, winter jackets and books; for babies, new clothes of all sizes, onesies, winter clothing, sleep sets, diapers, and strollers; for younger children, Marvel and DC Comics toys, action figures and games, and board games; and for teenagers, $25 gift cards to Old Navy, Target, Academy, GameStop, Apple, or Best Buy, sports gear, jerseys from local teams, skateboards and helmets, makeup kits, and journals.

Donations can be made now until December 14 at Meredith Clark Law, 4314 Yoakum Blvd., Ste. 6, Houston 77006.
