If you weren’t an attorney, what profession do you think you would be in? My dream job would be to be a sports radio talk show host. I’d love to get paid to tell the world what the Cowboys and Mavericks should do to improve their play.
What’s the turning point that made you decide to become an attorney? A high school field trip to the Travis County Courthouse. We sat in on a DWI trial and I thought “Hey, I think I could do a better job than the prosecuting attorney.”
What has changed the most technologically or practice wise since you have been licensed? Document delivery by e-mail. It seems like I spent half of the first 6 months of my career preparing to fax or FedEx lengthy documents or scrambling to get to an after-hours FedEx drop-up location before the final pick-up. I haven’t used a fax machine or rushed to a FedEx box in years, thank goodness.
