Nadda Rungruangphol, a 3L at UNT Dallas College of Law, was selected as the recipient of the inaugural Thai Law Student Scholarship Award from the Thai American Bar Association.

Rungruangphol’s essay on the increase in harassment and violence against persons of Asian and Pacific Islander descent in the U.S. was selected as the winner. She received the $200 scholarship during the Thai American Bar Association’s 9th Annual Installation Dinner held virtually on May 20.

The TABA Law Student Scholarship is funded by the California Asian-Pacific American Judges Association.
