The Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program will hold a free “Pro Se Divorce Legal Clinic” for Dallas County residents who meet certain financial criteria at noon Wednesday at the Jubilee Park and Community Center, 907 Bank St., Dallas.
This clinic occurs on the fourth Wednesday of every month, with the exception of November and December.
Volunteer attorneys will provide free divorce assistance for low-income residents. To qualify for aid, you must be a legal citizen of the United States, have a minimal amount of property with no property disputes, and have had no family violenc within the last 90 days, unless there is a protective order or you have been denied one.
DVAP hosts several legal clinics each month. If you can’t make the divorce clinic, consider attending one of 11 free legal clinics scheduled in April. Attorneys at the clinics provide consultation in a variety of civil matters.
