The Katy Bar Association and the Houston Bar Foundation will host a free legal clinic for veterans on Saturday, April 25 in Katy.

During the event, veterans and spouses of deceased veterans can obtain legal advice from volunteer attorneys on matters in any area of the law, including family, wills and probate, consumer, real estate and tax law, and disability and veterans benefits. Veterans who need ongoing representation and who qualify for legal aid may be assigned a pro bono attorney.

The clinic, which takes place in conjunction with the Greater Katy Area Veterans Family Fun & Resource Day at VFW Post 9182, will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Houston Bar Foundation also sponsors weekly clinics from 2 to 5 p.m. Fridays on the first floor of the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center. For more information, to go hba.org.
