Torrie Bethany is the projects coordinator for the Communications Division of the State Bar of Texas. She holds a B.A in communications from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio.

Lowell Brown is the communications division director for the State Bar of Texas. He has a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in journalism from the University of North Texas and previously worked as a reporter and editor at daily newspapers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Tracy Brown is the director of administration for the Texas Young Lawyers Association (TYLA), where she oversees the TYLA board of directors and many member service and public service projects. Joanna Herzik is the web content specialist for TexasBar.com. Joanna graduated cum laude from St. Edward’s University with a B.A. in English Writing & Rhetoric and a minor in English Literature.

Hannah Kiddoo is assistant editor of the Texas Bar Journal. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Central Methodist University, and a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin.

Lindsay Stafford Mader is associate editor of the Texas Bar Journal. She holds a bachelor’s in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin and previously wrote and edited for a science-based nonprofit publication.

Patricia McConnico is the managing editor of the Texas Bar Journal. Patricia graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in English, a B.S. in journalism, and a master’s degree in journalism.

Alexandra Myers is director of the Archives Department of the State Bar of Texas. She is a Certified Archivist and graduate of the Master’s Program in Library Science at the School of Information at the University of Texas. Alexandra also serves on the Texas Court Records Preservation Task Force.

Teri Rodriguez is the webmaster for TexasBar.com. She maintains the State Bar website in addition to writing, editing, and designing webpages. Teri started her career at the State Bar as an editorial assistant for the Texas Bar Journal in 2000. She is a graduate of St. Edward’s University in Austin.

John Sirman is deputy director and legal counsel for the State Bar of Texas. He was previously web manager for the State Bar and serves as technology editor of the Texas Bar Journal. John graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and Texas Tech University School of Law.

Amy Starnes is public information director for the State Bar of Texas. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communication/journalism from Purdue University. A Michigan native, Starnes worked as a reporter and editor for news organizations in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, California, and Texas.
